WeMe project construction process

Step 1: Collect information, consult customers

To start any project, WeMe will also collect information related to the project such as: type of business activities, nature of waste sources or input water sources, output water quality requirements, requirements from the investor, … to be able to provide preliminary advice to customers on technology options and costs.

Step 2: Field survey

After obtaining the initial preliminary information, WeMe engineers will go directly to the project site to conduct a survey.
The purpose of this step is to grasp the actual information provided by the investor, measure the project area, take samples to analyze the quality of the input water and many other related information to develop a suitable design plan.

Step 3: Run the test model

For wastewater and water supply with complex properties, different from previous projects, WeMe will run a test model or sample jartest. This is a step to directly test the treatment technology with the input water source but with a small capacity.
The purpose of this step is to choose the most suitable treatment technology for the properties of wastewater and water supply, avoiding waste if the treatment technology does not meet the requirements when applied in practice.

Step 4: Finalize the technology

WeMe will take water samples after running the model or jartest, record the parameters that need to be analyzed and send the samples to the specialized unit for water quality analysis.
From the returned analysis results, we will conduct research and propose the official treatment technology for the project.

Step 5: Make estimates and operating costs

After finalizing the technology and having full information related to the project, WeMe’s experts will make cost estimates for the project. This cost estimate will include 02 contents:

  • The contract quote includes: technology transfer costs, equipment, chemicals, labor, construction and installation, operation, sampling, warranty costs, maintenance, etc.
  • The system operating cost estimate includes: electricity costs, chemicals, labor costs, etc.

Step 6: Send the quote to the investor

After completing the cost estimate, WeMe will send this information to the investor and wait for the response.

Step 7: Sign the contract

When the investor agrees with the plan and cost proposed by WeMe, the two parties will sign a cooperation contract.

Step 8: Design the items in the contract

WeMe’s engineers will design the details of the contract items (including 2D and 3D drawings) of the entire system, treatment tanks, details of equipment such as: pumps, air blowers, pipes, electrical lines, air rigs, etc. of the system.

Step 9: Processing, ordering machinery, equipment, materials

Proceed to process tanks, materials in the system and order equipment and materials that are not yet available such as pumps, air blowers, MBR membranes, chemicals, etc. and many other equipment.

Step 10: Prepare the construction site

Contact the investor to prepare the site with the area as in the design drawings before bringing in materials and equipment.

Step 11: Transport machinery, equipment, materials to the project

Transport the necessary materials and equipment and send engineers and workers to the project to carry out the construction.

Step 12: Construction and installation

Construction and installation of the system according to the items signed in the contract.

Construction and installation time will depend on the scale of the project. For projects on wastewater treatment modules, this is a typical product of WeMe, the installation time will be very fast, about 2 days.

Step 13: Trial operation

After completing the construction and installation work, the system will be tested.

The purpose of the trial operation is to check whether the system has any problems with water lines, electricity, equipment such as pumps, blowers, air systems, etc. or not. If there are any, a solution will be developed before officially putting it into operation.

For wastewater treatment system installation projects, there will be an additional step of culturing microorganisms to treat the system.

Step 14: Official operation, taking samples to analyze the quality of the output water

After determining that the system is complete, wastewater or water will be fed into the system for official operation and samples will be taken to analyze the quality of the output water to determine whether the treatment efficiency of the system meets the requirements as initially set out.

Step 15: Acceptance, operational training, handover to the investor

When the output water quality analysis results meet the required standards, we will conduct operational training, acceptance, handover of the system, and transfer related documents such as technological documents, drawings, etc. to the investor.
